Hi Sir, I have submitted my rental document for year Oct 2014 in my office. Now after almost 3 years they are asking me to submit again. I don't have the original copy as i have shifted home. Can you please suggest What can be done now??

Hi Sir, I am thankful for your reply. My Actual issue is, I work for one of the MNC and As part of relocation claim I have submitted my rental document in Oct 2014. Now after almost 3 years HR came back and asking for the same. Since I have shifted my home I don't have the old copy. Can you please suggest me what can be done?? Can I submit new rental document signed by my previous owner back dated??

Very vague query! Do you believe that the advice rendered here by experts to you would be accepted by your MNC? You could better have asked for the clarification from the HR of your company.

If you have photocopy, please give it to your HR. Otherwise inform them in writing that you had submitted the same and then only you got the relocation claim paid by the Company. That you are not having copy of the Agreement with you any more. That's all. You have no other obligation/liability to again submit the Rent Agreement. (Pl. do not try to do anything else like trying to get backdated agreement etc. etc. Any such attempt on your part will land you in deep trouble. Never do it.)

Neither any "if" nor any "but" whereas the company shall proceed as per law. Consult HR of the company and/or a local lawyer for better appreciation of facts of the case, analyse and guide.
