Resigned director benefits

I would like to know that what are the benefits of resigned director. like shares, Assets & others....
Am working with PVT LTD Co. with six directors and am one of them .Company is dealing with service segment. Now due to some personal issue am going to tendered resigned from my position. Please advise me what should be the step taken in this regards.
