Review on order of Writ Appeal (Madras HC)

Ld Counsels,

My writ appeal was dismissed at admission itself without going into the merits of the case by the HC of Madras.

Can I file a review of the said order seeking a re-hearing of the writ appeal to dispose it on merits.

Please explain what course of action I have for seeking the remedy at the HC itself before going to SC.

You will have to file Writ Appeal to the division bench for relief, otherwise you cannot file a review petition.

It is the first bench of MAdras HC that dismissed the WA at admission with out consiering the merits.

yes, you have file SLP before hon'ble SC bcz against the Writ Appeal SLP or review are lie but in the revirw the chance of success is very low.

If there is any substantial question of law then can file Review.Review is coming before the same judge itself so getting a favourable order is less chance.
