Respected Experts,
I want to know that 1. A person is guilty held in a criminal case u/s 325 IPC. On hearing of quantum of sentence ,He is released on Probation for one year on 14-05-2014.
Can he contest election of Sarpanch in Haryana.
Please also Give the qualifictions and disqualifictions of the candidature for post of sarpanch in Haryana.

Details are as follow
1. A person is convicted u/s 323 and 325 IPC and realeased on Probation for a period of 6 months and one year respectively for sec.323,325 of IPC. The Order is annouced on 14-05-2014 by S.D.J.M. Court,Mahendragarh in Haryana.
Can he contest the election for the post of Panch or Sarpanch in Haryana in future..
