RTI act - Procedure to file application

Can any one explain the procedure to get the evaluated answer sheets of CA Final June09 exam.

Recently a student has got the evaluated answer sheets Through RTI Act.

i believe something went wrong and jus wanna ensure my result. PL help me out... Pl reply immediately..

i dont think that can be done via media RTI Act.


there must be some procedure prescribed for it.

but if u r sure that such an incident has happened then u can write a simple application demanding what u intend to....no necessasity for a particular format.

Dear Mr. Prasanna,
you can ask information in a form of letter also*( if infrmation does not come under the protection of SEC 8). please mention ur name address, age, indian nationality (with proof of indian nationality) and deposit it at the ICAI office with simple fees of ten rs.
they will give u information within 30 dys. if u ask or copies they may ask u for certain extra fees(nominal) which u must pay.
addressteh letter to the PIO, ICAI follwed by the adrress ogf the office.

You should file RTI appln with CPIO of ICAI at its Delhi HQ

CIC has ordered disclosure of answer papers to ICAI and the same is challenged in High Court by ICAI.

You can file RTI by mentioning the name and address of the authority or the Public infirmation officers name n address n mention ur roll no and exam and ur name n address send it with requisite fees of 10 rs. the ans will come to ur place with in 30 days.
