Hi,
I am from Hyderabad. My brother met with an accident in Sep 2006 and unfortunately the accident was fatal. He started his career in Jan 2004 and worked for 2.5 years . He filed IT returns for the financial years 2004 and 2005. Can we claim compensation under section 166 of motor vehicle act?
I was not aware of this until I heard about it from one of my friend. My brother is unmarried and I am doing this follow up on behalf of my mother.
Any Help on this is very much appreciated.
Thanks
Regards,
Prasanth

Surprising that no tout approached you.
There are advocates specializing in MACT cases and you may consult them on the prospects of condonation of delay.

Just forget again as your claim can not be entertained at this stage, if filed, as it is more than one decade of accident.

It is huge delay.
You may not succeed.

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. Is the act applicable for government employees or people working in private companies as well?
Thanks
