Sir, In the year 1971 we had purchased a piece of land to construct a cold storage ,after converting the land non agriculture we applied for high tension electricity line to Maharashtra state electricity Board (M.S.E.B.).They had Given permission for H.T.Line and asked us to purchase our own transformer. We purchased the same and then M.S.E.B.installed the same in our own premises and the electricity supply was begun.
In the year 2001 we wind up our business and applied to cancel the high tension line .M.S.E.B. cancelled the high tension line and provided us a low tension line and put their own transformer on the same place in our premises without our consent.
Now we want to shift the transformer from our premises. What should we can do legally. Please suggest.
Thanks.

You can first issue a request letter requesting the electricity board authorities to remove the transformer lying in your premises.
If they do not listen or reluctant to remove it then you can file a suit for mandatory injunction seeking court direction to remove the same from your property

After the year 2001, the MSEB installed a transformer in your place then why did you keep silent all these years?

File a Suit for Declaration and Mandatory Injunction in your local Civil Court for removal of High Tension Transformer or you can file a Writ Petition in High Court.

What action has so far been initiated by you during elapsed period of 23 years when you closed your business of cold storage, consequently, change of electricity (with its transformer) usage ?
And what is requirement for replacement of transformer at this stage ?

Yes, make a request and if so necessary, file a Writ Petition seeking the removal of the transformer.
