sir,
i have shopping complex in my native,with five shops.i make it for rent with 400rs monthly.
whether i want to write agreement?plz tell how many days for agreement?
like motor vehicle is there is any insurance for the shopping complex if have means plz tell me about the detail sir,

Make tenancy or lease agreement with the prospective tenants/lessees containing standard terms and conditions.

It can be for 11 months and leave the insurance on the tenants rather to incur huge money thereon.

Rent Agreement for 11 months would be better. and burden of insurance transfer to tenant through rent agreement.

An agreement of tenancy for a period of more than a year attracts law of registration and stamp duty,hence 11month deed is advisable,which shall have to be changed every 11 month giving you opportunity to enhance the rent every year.you may burden the insurance upon tenant. Minor repairs, upkeep, white wash, leak proof, taxes electricity,water charges all to be payable extra and to be born by tenants.
