Shrc registered case no on my complaint but?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 22 October 2024 This query is : Resolved
I got email from NHRC about registration of Case by SHRC on my complaint.
But it will take time for SHRC to act further in the matter.

Due to genuine fear of foul attack and even murder I m going to register private complaint for registration of FIR with MM Andheri East as Inspector has merely registered an NC and not FIR and want to know if I should do it and inform NHRC/SHRC or not. TIA

Please guide. TIA

If you apprehend danger and threats to your life then you can approach local police with a complaint seeking protection and action against the suspected criminals.

When there is an attack on you, it is a cognizable offence and police shall have to register FIR, however, if there is reluctance on the part of police file a complaint before area Magistrate through a local prudent lawyer.

Funny facts: How could NHRC acknowledge the complaint received by SHRC? How could a FIR be registered based on mere apprehensions?

Please do not post riddles based on imaginary facts.

Sir P Vasu, Even we doubted how complaint lodged with NHRC went to SHRC for registration of the case? It looked very dicey or merely paper entry to show NHRC is really concerned in quick in taking action but facts are other wise. When we approached MHRC they were not aware of any such case and sent us away. This is India's thriving democracy. As for murder apprehension you say let murder take place and then police will promptly register the FIR. It really funny.

If you acted on improper information then it may not be the fault of court.
You clarify the details properly before getting into action
