Society registration act 1860

1. Can a society registered under Society Act, transfer the society and its property to someone else?

2. If yes then what is the procedue?

3. what are the ramifications of tranfering a Registered society?

4. Does it has Tax liabilities?

Yes, The society can transfer the property to anyone. Provided, society should seek permission from the Charity Commissioner by assigning appropriate reasons for sale. Taxes are applicable as per the governing laws of state.
