i am a st cast member. my grand father cast certificate is already done. but now i have a cast certificate for my job & carrear. problem is that jalna district (maharashtra)collector said, this is not possible for u becuase of your community's is ressidential in nanded so so what we do pls help me

but my native place & grand father cast certificate also jalna(maharashtra)approved.so in this case can i apply in nanded.

yes you can apply in nanded
Children of persons who have migrated after 20-09-1951 to Maharastra are also eligible for issuance of SC/ST certificate on production of their fathers’ SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State/Union Territory from which they have migrated. However, in such cases, the following procedure is applicable:-
Application form, duly attested by Class-I Gazetted Officer.
Birth Certificate or School Certificate.
Copy of Ration Card or Other Proof of Residence.
Copy of SC/ST certificate of father issued by SDO/Tehsildar of the State. Original to be produced for examination.
All documents should be attested by a Gazetted Officer
The SC/ST Certificate belonging to the applicant’s father will be examined the time of submission of the form by the applicant’s. In cases where the father’s certificate has over-writing or is illegible or the stamp of the issuing authority is very faint or the certificate is undated, the authenticity of the father’s certificates will be ascertained from issuing authority. Certificate will be issued subsequently
