Suit for partition and seperate possesion(muslim family)

we legal heirs(sons) of our father (died-1975)want to initiate suit for partition and seperate possesion (document with us is a registered partition deed among (family members UNCLES AND OUR FATHER TOGETHERE in 1971) where the said residential property is to be enjoyed in common)of our share against the remaining family members (UNCLES AND COUSINS) in a jointly undivided residential property bearing our grandfathers name (died-1948)name in land records till date
kindly advise under muslim law what is applicable and exclusions if any

Nearest relative discards furtherer while making partition of the property and sons get double of the daughters.
