Lnd. Experts, Is there any Demarcation Suit, which can be filed at any civil court and demarcation can be done with appointed competent surveyor by court. Or any other way to demarcate the land. Is it necessary cover the land with boundary wall, if a person is unable meet the expenses of raising boundary? Thanks.

It is not necessary to possess any property/plot by building a wall around it but it is advisable to built this so that no other person may encroach it and demarcation once done be treated as permanent.
Suit for possession should be filed wherein demarcation through a local commission may be got done by either of the parties to the suit.

For demarcation of land one should apply to the concern tehsildar (Revenue officer)on a simple plain paper in simple language with all details of land. Tehsildar will appoint a perason from revenue dept. you will have to pay a requisite fee for the same.
Construction of boundry wall is not necessary to show possession.

Sir thanks for the kind reply. I have applied at Revenue Officer since last 3 yrs. But they are expecting huge bribe, which I am not in position to pay. Even one govt. school has applied in 1986 to demarcate its acquired (acquired by the govt and has been encroached) land, but is yet to be demarcated, since they can not get money from other govt. dept. Also the appointed (Amin)/ surveyor of Revenue dept are of low skill and are bribe seekers. Civil court's demarcation will be binding.

File a writ of mandamus before High Court.
