If you get the summons then you should attend the court or else warrant would be issued against you Without knowing the charges and the case in detail how one could advise you further.

Summons will be sent by the court only after filing the charge sheet on you. If you avoid the summons next non bailable warrant will be issued to you. Just after receipt of summons attend the court pay the penalty.

As such you are a responsible citizen, if you have been charged, have you been medically examined by the doctor on government duty or just by the breath analyser test have they charged you with the said offence if so there is always a possibility of your acquittal but till then you will have to contest the case & for that you will have to enquire of the proceedings whether the police have sent the matter to the court & if so when is the next date even if summons have not been recieved you may after deligent search approach the court & expediate the matter. Best of Luck.

Go to local court under which the case recorded and with the help of lawyer searched the matter by providing date and place/police-station where your case was registered. you will know the present status of the case and do accordingly and keep in touch with your lawyer
