Can you please tell me where can i find supreme courts cases/judgements for sec 511
(My friend to get an easy divorce from his wife had mentioned all lies in his written statement )

Do you mean 511 IPC? 511 never comes in isolation. It speaks of attempt to commit offense. I think you should clarify the query.

Please look at the qn.It is component of two different qns.One,regarding Sec 511 Judgments of Supreme Court.Two,your friends averred lie (false allegations) in his written statement filed against petition of Divorce.
S.511,as I understand must be 511 IPC.Which comes into fore only in order to show "attempt" made by an accused for commission of an offence.For application of S.511,there must be a 'main offence' which is alleged to be ATTEMPTED by a person accused of the offence e.g 376/511,354/11,379/511......IPC.A catena of SC authority can be found in any Law journal or text book.
Regarding second,suffice it is to say that a defendant/respondent can take any pleas in his WS maybe contradictory or else.
