Tenant misbehaving and not vacating the property

(Querist) 23 November 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

Written notice was given to the tenant he was mistreating us, insulting us and misbehaving by telling lies and misuse of words. He is ordering us to do as he says else he will take legal action against us. He is one at fault and he is terrifying us and threatening us. The person is extremely cheap, stubborn, cunning and sarcastic modulating and manipulating things every second. He is dictating terms to us and behaving like he is owner of the property and we are his servants. I am in my early pregnancy and because of the stress and tension this person is giving me I may risk my unborn baby's life.

Please advice how to quickly resolve the matter. Urgent help needed. If there is a good property lawyer in Bangalore Banaswadi area please advice and share the contact details.

Many thanks,
Neha.

Too many adjectives and sketchy facts. An FIR could be lodged if he misbehaves.

Fastest way is amicable settlement with the help of effective people and get the premises vacated. You have to surrender some benefits of yours for the sake of peace and your unborn child.

Eviction orders from court may take 3-5 years or more.

Better you should follow the Advise of Mr.R.K.Goyal

Act as per the advice of Sri Rajendra K Goyal. If the tenant is not coming for amicable settlement, continues to abuse you, lodge a police complaint against him.

Well advised by experts above, instead of risking your pregnancy, better try to solve the issues amicably or handover the case to a better lawyer and take rest for another 3 to 5 years.
