Hi We have been staying in a rented home in thane since 10 years and we want to buy the same but the owner is not willing to sell it. when can tenants get a right to buy the home or what can be the solution to buy the house?

Land Lord is Not Ready to Sell But you want to buy the house being a Tenant and require Legal advise for the same.Very Good

abide with the lease agreement / rent note.
tenant is a tenant and landlord is the owner of the property. there can be no compulsion on him to sell the property to you

You have no rights in exercising any pressure on the owner to sell the property to you alone, he may decide otherwise because he is not bound by any conditions of tenancy forcing him to sell the property to the tenant.
