to file a complaint before the police immediately after commission of the offence is better, if there is delay important evidence will be vanished.

There is no prescribed time limit. The complaint should be launched as early as possible.

The law does not prescribe any time limit for any of the cases mentioned. It depends on the facts and circumstances.
If your query is very general, you got the answer. You may give any specific facts for specific reply.

There is no time limit for making the police complaint but the law prescribes that as soon as u came to know within reasonable time u should make a complaint to the police or may file a criminal complaint. However the section 463 of the Cr.P.C provides the limits for making the compliant to the police as well as to the magistrate.

As soon as the offence is committed and when u have learnt about it immediate complaint works good result as delay in filing complaint will loose its gravity of offences committed and wittness will be manipulated. After filing complaint, when its registered FIR ,it must be reported to near by magistrate of concerned jurisdiction within 24 hours.
