Does it really take more than 1 month to get copy of chargesheet from court. Fir was filed in Feb, as per my lawyer police has submitted report to court in april end, but i have not received any summon from either police or court. When I asked for copy of fir and chargesheet my lawyer said he has applied for it and it would take time to receive. I am in different state from state where complaint for 498a is filed.

It does not take months together to supply the certified copy. Recent High court decision say AB is valid till the trail is completed.

You will be officially given a copy of chargesheet on the date you are summoned to the court, otherwise when you know that chargesheet has been filed, take a certified copy and time of getting a certified copy varies from 2 hours to infinity (due to various reasons). File a fresh Urgent CA and follow it up to get it soon, in case you need to see it urgently.(I think that anlayising the chargesheet is best left to your counsel)

In fact it is the duty of the court to supply copy of chargesheet. Why should you spend for that. Be patient. Your AB is valid till the end of the trial unless the court itself has directed otherwise.

Yes. Its duty to the court. If summons served, and you appeared mean, court will give a copy of charge sheet to you.. So just wait. About your A.b its valid till end of the subject matter.
