To file e- documents in the court

(Querist) 04 August 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

In one of our case, the defendant has made an e-payment of TDS and has accordingly received an e- acknowledgement. He has filed the same alongwith his affidavit as a document to be exhibited.

My query is:-
1. Is it a legal requirement to produce certified copy of an e-document on Court record ????
2. If yes, under which act would be the relevant procedure ???

Early reply would be appreciated as the matter is posted for cross on Monday.

Thanx & Regards,

Anamika.
