This query is : Resolved
IN MY ORGANISATION ONGC LTD, ONE TRADE UNION EXISTS WHO IS NOT FOLLOWING CERTAIN RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE TRADE UNION ACT. THIS UNION DOES NOT HOLDS ANY AGM AND ALSO SINCE LAST 3 YEARS TILL DATE IT HAS ALSO NOT RELEASED ANY NOTIFICATION OF ITS MEMBERS. IT HAS ALSO MADE TREASURER WHO IS NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF ONGC LTD AT PRESENT.
WHAT ACTIONS CAN WE TAKE AS A MEMBER OF THIS TRADE UNION AS PER LAW.
THANKS

If it is a registered trade union and has been recognised by the ONGC, then you can make complaint against the trade union on the subject that has come to your knowledge before the registrar concerned as well as the management of the ONGC giving the details of the irregularities while requesting for a proper action to curb such illegal and fraudulent acts.

In my view, if the trade union is registered by the Registrar of Trade Unions you can file a complaint to the Labour Commissioner.
