My late father was given land by registered gift deed . However the same was not incorporated in the 7/12 extract and the ownership in that stand in the name of the son of seller. How we can claim ownership of the plot?

File an application with the concerned authorities enclosing a copy of registered gift deed. Since it is the gift deed, the son of the donor can also join in the request stating that the land originally belongs to his father who gifted it away and though his (son's) name is registered in 7/12, he (son) does not have objection for changing the name in 7/12 in favour of the donee.

First make application to the talathi if the talathi does not oblige then file petition under RTS case
