Translation of death certificate from marathi to english

(Querist) 30 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
A friend of mine is emigrating to USA. His wife expired and for applying for American citizenship, he has to submit her death certificate with the American Government authorities.

His wife's death certificate is in Marathi but he requires the same in English. Is there a specific Indian body/organisation/person which/who he should approach to get the death certificate translated to English and which will be valid in a foreign country? Death certificate in a regional Indian language is not being accepted.

An advocate can do this.

Those people who are Limited to their own WELL, LIKE FROGS , WANT ALL CERTIFICATES IN THEIR REGIONAL LOCAL LANGUAGES, Even Motor Vehicles in local languages should bear in mind, the difficulties, for which a national and international languages should be used.

It is not your home, that you speak any languages our of 30-70 Indian languages, or marry your own language speaking girl. 997% Indian do it)

Let all know, except in home, use ONLY INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE , for all official work.

Otherwise, thses type of problem is only a begining.

Let such example become eye opener for selfish, power cray dirty politician, who were not even national Leader, They were only state selfish persons who never even travelled in forign country, remain in their holes like RAT, beleicing they were LOIN.

Who will read car plate in Marathi, when they g to Kerala?? Had they thought it?? Why not in English, which was the practice for century??

Ans: Any Notary will certify it as true translation, and will be accepted in foreign country.

But HIGHLIGHT TO THOSE, WHO ISSUED CERTIFICATE IN LOCAL LANGUAGE.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE, all certificate, all that need be read by others should be in international language.

All court procedure, all boards on state & High ways, All certificates of Senior citizen (One had to use in Delhi as well as Madurai Railways to get concessional tickets!!, & such doc must be in International Language.

it is madness to issue imp certificate, death or birth, in local language.
Are they not Fools???? How can they justify using local language??? Whole wold cannot be their home..

OR TELL THEM TO ISSUE ALL PASSPORTS ALSO ONLY IN MARATHI, ALL SCHOOL & COLLEGE CERTIFICATES ONLY IN MARATHI, AND LET THEM FACE THE DIFFICULTIES.

LET THEIR DOCTORS PRESCRIBE MEDICINES IN MARATHI ONLY. LET THEM USE ONLY MARATHI COMPUTERS, IN THEIR HOME AS WELL AS OFFICE. LET THEM USE ONLY MARATHI DRESS EVERYWHERE, WHY WERE SHIRT AND PANTS??

LET THEM USE MARATRHI CALENDER, WHY ENGLISH DATES??
CAN THEY SURVIVE BY DOING SO??
LET ALL COMMUNICATION, BE IN MARATHI , EITHER IN SACHIVALAYA OR IN ALL BUSINESS. ONLY. USE ONLY MARATHI TECHNOLOGY, IN THEIR HOME AND IN BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE. ALL SHIPS BE NUMBER PLATES IN MARATHI.

Let us share frank & clear opinion abut this Topic.
Should we be Limited to our state language/ or decontrol ourself, and become international?? should wee progress or shrink to our local area??
