Dear Sirs,

Can you kindly advice on Christian Divorce,

Pending the Divorce Petition filed by Husband, the Christian Wife claimed for maintenance and reported on the record that she is starving to death and is under huge debt. But the wife was travelling to UK every year for 6 months stay at London.

1. Can the wife travel to UK while the divorce petition is pending in the Court

2. Should she obtain permission of the Court to travel to UK every year

3. Travel to UK indicates that she is self sufficient with her finances, should the husband contest to stop the maintenance

1. Yes, where is the bar?
2. Not at all.
3. Not necessarily, anyone can sponsor her trip. It would not help avoiding the maintenance.

Wife can travel, can be sponsored by others who pay for her England trips, and all these facts do not help husband in court to reduce mtn.
