i have one room purchased from some one else located at slump area in Malad west , Mumbai i e. chwal room . i have made sale deed dated on 26 th jan 2013 for value of Rs. 4.5 lacs on Rs100 stamp paper and then notarised it thru notary. i have also mother sale deed handover by seller to me. My querry is that : 1. Legal status of this sale deed.
2. Standing of this doccument incase we gofor SRA Scheme. ( Slum Rehabilitation Schme )

Notarised sale-deed is not a sale deed in the eyes of law. This is merely a transfer of possession. You can become owner only if a registered sale deed is executed in the office of concerned registrar of the area.
