Recently am going thru the news of Campa Cola residents, Mumbai, to understand the degree of pain of these residents is very difficult. After living for 25 years Govt. is asking them to leave their home. Where they will go? What is their mistake if developer / builder have done wrong? Our Govt & our laws are such useless....why govt is acting after 25 years? In Mumbai only Campa Cola residents are living illegally? If you search for actual fact, I am sure there will be more than 80% of buildings / flats in Mumbai who has violated laws. And why Govt is not taking action against builders, officer who helped them build this illegal floors. Govt approval is necessary while completing each floor, why those officials are not held responsible? I really feel sad for those people of Campa Cola....May god help them in their fight. I read one article of Japanese Official (BMC like dept) after Sunami, he said “.....all washed out....all destroyed....No Problem......we got another chance to rebuild all......correctly....avoiding our past mistakes”. Really, its thinking & attitude of people in nation, which makes nation or destroys nation.

No amount of delay makes illegal things legal.
The govt. shall have to act starting from one place, it is sheer misfortune that CC is their first victim.
