125 crpc

Hi ,

Iam rajkumar from chennai,My wife filed 125 crpc on sep2010 ,Now on enquiry in the judge chamber, judge asked my wife that the averments in the petition was true and she also accepted that the petition was filed with her knowledge,then the judge asked me are when u are ready to cross examine the petitioner and gave me a date on next month .

Now my question is

1.) I have to appoint a advocate to cross examine her or can i file a showcause/written objections with affidavit .

No, you must hire good advocate to cross examine the petitioner(wife).Or in case if you dont want to hire an advocate then you can also cross examine her but you have to take some knowlege(legal points,facts etc.) for that.Thats why hire a good advocate.
