arbitation agreement and mode of service

I find that an arbitration clause contained a specific address for which service is to be effected as the respondent address, i found all the notice addressed to school is redirected  to his place of normal residence and remained unclaimed and returned later. Under those circumstance i held the provision requiring service at particular address is waived and redirection of the same to his place of residence as found school records is sufficient service, i would like to now comments and view of my ld brothers in this matter
