An autonomous organization under the Union Ministry appointed stenographers on en cadre post and subsequently arbitrarily it have been made an ex cadre post. Now the aggrieved stenographers are facing stagnation. The department is telling turn down the representation with the submissions that the Secretarial Cadre has been restructured after Cadre Review giving appropriate promotional avenues in the cadre. Every service has its unique service conditions and cannot be compared to other services.
