Justice S.H. Kapadia, the CJI, does not own a vehicle and has only a flat in Mumbai worth Rs 20 lakh besides having moveable property of Rs 41.15 lakh which includes jewellery received at the time of his marriage which at present is valued at Rs 1 lakh.
He has invested in shares whose market value has been mentioned at Rs 22 lakh while the cost price of mutual fund owned by him is Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 3.85 lakh and Rs 12.50 lakh is mentioned under the head of fixed deposit and public provident fund respectively.
