bank notice to guranter

RESPECTED SIR,

I AM VERY FRESH ADVOCATE in PROFESSION, I NEED SUGGESTION FROM EXPERT & SENIOR advocates :-

MY CLIENT IS A WIDOW 75YEARS LADY, SHE CANT MOVE FROM BAD TOO, HER ELDER SON CAME TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD GOT  A NOTICE FROM A NATIONALISED BANK THAT, one Mrs  X HAS TAKEN TERM LOAN AND defaulted to pay any installment and the bank now send my client a copy of notice by mentioning that she was one of the guarantor of Mrs X, But neither My client nor His elder son has knowledge of the fact, but My client’s younger son who is a fool man, actually provoked by Mrs X husband that if he bring the Original Deed of the land of Her mother ( My Client) then they will involve him in there business as a partner and they also told him that they just want to see the original deed and return it after studying it but  unfortunately my clients younger son gave them the original deed without informing his mother and elder son, but when the notice reached he scared and said all truth to his elder brother.

My clients is elder person and she even doesn’t move from bad & always put thumb impression as she is illiterate women, and my clients elder son & younger son both are sure that she (My client) never  signed any bank document.

But that Fool younger Son of my client said that they (Husband of Mrs X) take his signature in a stamp paper, but I think as the land is belong to My client so her son signature should have no value,

My client’s elder son also went to bank & asked manager about the matter and even a letter  also send  through an advocate that they want to see the document on which basis bank send them copy of notice as guarantor of defaulter. But no response from the said bank, and third notice also received fr om the Bank on 19th May 2010.

Now I want to know can I suggest my client to go for RTI and if yes then whom to apply and if there any other way or legal procedure to free my client from such matter as due to that they are also very much in tension.

Your query contains your idea to invoke the RTI Act. It's brilliant. Go Ahead!
