Dear all,
I was born on 31st Dec.,1978 at our home residence. The date has been recorded in my school document. Now I am going to apply for a fresh passport which needs a birth certificate. Is my school living certificate stating my birthday is enough to satisfy the passport officer? If yes what is the way out for this problem.

School living certificate will definatively serve your purpose for the purposes of passport.

Birth Certificate is enough and for further evidence you can give them Affidavit.
