Dear Querist,

Agent is authorized to create a contract between his principal and a third party. An agent can-be sued on his personal liabilities and the authority of an agent can be revoked.

This is the only way one can make an offer on the behalf of some other person. This is one of the duties of the agent that he is obligated to perform for his principal as per the Indian Contract Act, 1872 under section 212.
