challenging court settlement

sir,

Whether the High court can treat the memorandum of settlement filed before it through the lawyer concerned being genuine and pass a judgment thereon without even recording the statement of the parties concerned and without seeing its validity  and what are the grounds    available for the aggrieved person to challenge such judgment before the Supreme Court?

as now the person concerend want to challenge the same, as no money was recovered as per stipulations thereon and every thing was received by his lawyer only
