Conversion of 1bhk to 2bhk

We have a 1bhk flat on ground floor in Thane with an enclosed balcony attached to the living room. Can we convert the balcony to kitchen and the kitchen to another room? Is it allowed? We don't plan on breaking any columns and beams.

you need to seek permission of the local municipal corporation engineer and also take noc from the society.

Since these are internal conversions structurally but still as there are deviations you need to obtain permission for deviations from.the muncipal authorities and makeamendments before the concerned sub registrar too.
