I AM FROM GUJARAT & LIVE IN A CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING SERVICE SOCIETY PREMISES OF 13 BUILDING ( 52 flats each ) & EVERY BUILDING MAINTAIN THERE OWN ACCOUNTS , HAVE THERE OWN PRESIDENT , SECRETARY & TRESURER SELECTED IN AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING . THEY PAY AGREED ANNUAL AMOUNT TO THE COMMON REGD SOCIETY WHICH MANAGE COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES , 2 SELECTED MEMBERS OF EACH BUILDING REPRESENT IN THE COMMON SOCIETY COMMITTEE & RESPECTED POST ARE FILLED BY VOTING .
THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN IN IMPLEMENTATION SINCE LAST 12 YEARS ... NOW THE COMMON COMMITTEE SAYS THAT ALL THE FLAT HOLDERS HAVE TO PAY DIRECTLY TO THE COMMON REGD SOCIETY & INDIVIDUAL MAINTENANCE OF THE BUILDING IS NOT ALLOWED UNDER COOPERATIVE SERVICE SOCIETY ACT & IF NOT DONE SO DISTRICT COOPERATIVE AUTHORITIES WILL APPOINT AN OFFICER TO MANAGE THE SOCIETY ACCORDING TO RULES & REGULATION OF THE ACT.
MY QUERY IS THAT 1) IS OUR PRESENT SYSTEM ALLOWED UNDER SERVICE SOCIETY ACT OR 2) WE NEED TO REGISTER EVERY BUILDING SEPERATELY OR 3) IS THERE ANY SYSTEM OF REGISTERATION OF SUB BODIES UNDER MAIN REGISTERED SERVICE SOCIETY.. SO THAT ALL BUILDING CAN BE MAINTAINED WELL & NO CURROPTION PREVAILS.
