Cvc guidelines

Dear Sir, My bank want to hire services of one driver for our Banks Official Car from a government undertaking company i.e. Uttar Pradesh Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited. Is hiring from government agency without going for open tender against CVC guidelines. As the requirement was only for one guard we preferred to go for government agency, now there are apprehensions that whether it is in procedure or not.

Yes it is violation of CVC guideline. You need to give public notice before hire any item quantity had no issue.

1) No vigilance angle seen.  No violation of CVC guidelines.

2) U can hire that too from another govt undertaking.  For hiring one driver, the competent authority can nominate also instead of calling tenders/ quotations, place before the concerned committee etc.

3) If the same driver has to be continued for long time recurrent, the prescribed procedure may be followed transparently and kept on panel turn on rotation.
