Delay in Recruitment of Asst Professors in Andhra Pradesh - reg

hello everyone...

in 2017 Andhra Pradesh govt has taken an initiative of making MOU with all the universities in AP to conduct a common screening test for all Asst Prof recruitment in Universities. in December 2017 they released notifications and conducted examination in April/ may 2018 and released results in June/ July 2018... since then the process was been delaying by both former and present govt. some universities have given (pil) call letters for interviews in February 2019 and just before 2 days of interview dates they have postponed the interviews and said further dates will be announced soon... we the qualified people (3400 members) have filed a case in high court of Andhra Pradesh and the government lawyer is continuously attending the sessions and asking court for some more time needed... we are waiting since 2 1/2 years for the justice.... please anyone suggest us... how we can approach govt or court to have justice..... thank you in advance..

This is the present position as posted by you

We the qualified people (3400 members) have filed a case in high court of Andhra Pradesh and the government lawyer is continuously attending the sessions and asking the court for some more time needed...'

When the matter is in court and you were represented by an expert advocate, except expediting the proceedings, one can not do anything. May be, some other college affected by the delay or students suffering due to inadequate staff can implead and pray for expediting the judgment on the basis of public interest.

Thank you GLN Prasad gaaru... for your reply... but fact is that no University in our state is ready to support us as all universities are politically exposed... even BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam had started calling candidates for interviews by asking govt as they have inadequate staff but just two days before starting of interviews the govt said to postpone the same...

This is the right time to move the issue through your advocate and bring the status to the attention of media.

It would not be appropriate to comment on a sub-judiced case without going through judicial file.

The lawyer engaged by you is well aware about the facts of the case, an able, competent and intelligent enough to satisfy your queries, if you have not lost your faith in him/ her.
