Divorce

Kabir- Probably the  guy is afraid of paying maintenance. Convince him that you are not going to frame  any cases against him including maintenance, probably he may agree. Having said that there could be other reasons why he is not intending for divorce- probably he is planning to patch up. If patch up is possible do NOT forgo this.

One thing is always have faith in your Lawyer. Any case when filed is conducted as per the due process of law. Changing a lawyer is not good for any case. Further when you engage a Lawyer, please confirm about his prior experience is divorce matters. These matters seem very simple to file, but are extremely difficult to handle successfully. You may take a second opinion in your case with any other lawyer of your choice. Best is to observe in the court room, who seem to be good and then discuss with him or ask for a reference from friends or relatives.
