The first question is: will the Indian Court recognze the foreign divorce? That depends on the circumstances of divorce, the Court that granted it and its jurisdiction. See, Satya v. Teja Singh.
She can claim maintenence in India if she is an Indian.

SHE IS NRI. BY BORN BRITISH,BRITISH PASSPORT,BRITISH CITIZENSHIP.EVEN SHE DNT HVE INDIAN CITIZENSHIP. BUT SHE IS INDIAN FROM HIS ANCESTER

The Indian Courts will not have jurisdictio to entertain maintenance petition if a party has no link of nationality and residence in India.She being of Indian origin will not be sufficient.
