Does spouse have rights on property acquired before marriage

if a Husband bought a property before marriage and is/has been responsible for paying EMI and maintainance costs, after marriage can his wife ask for rights on this property?

The wife cannot claim ownership rights over the property.

Expert  ASHISH  DAVESSAR is  right and  PRECISE -- ( PROPRIETORY  RIGHTS )  over  the  PROPERTY  ONLY TO THE EXTENT OF  HER  SHARE  IN SUCH  PROPERTY   where  she has  jointly  PURCHASED  with  BOTH  husband and Wife  name on such  DEEDS  &  DOCUMENTS.    WHEREAS  on the other hand   once she is  married  and  the  HUSBAND  DIES  with or  without  executing  a  WILL -   Irrespective of  the   properties  being  purchased before  marriage or  after  marriage,    she ( THE WIFE ) will  become  COMPLETE OWNER  of all the   ESTATE &  ASSETS  -   by  way of  INHERITANCE,     PROVIDED -  if  there is  no  legal  heirs   i.e,   the  parents of the deceased  HUSBAND, CHILDRENS  of  DECEASED  HUSBAND.     For any further  clarification u can write to me on sohan1912@rediffmail.com  in BANGALORE.,
