Hello Everybody, My name is Anita and I have been cheated of Rs.49,250 salary dues by my ex-employer. I approached the local police station and this employer used political muscle to wriggle out. I next went to the Chennai City Police Commissioner's office and this person has still again escaped. Can somebody here help me recover this amount successfully. My mail ID is gr8dayzahead@gmail.com

If you are covered by the def. of 'Employee' as In Tamilnadu Shops & Estbs Act ,'Workman' as in ID Act then you may approach:
Inspector appointed under Tamilnadu Shops & Estbs Act, Payment of wages Act,O/o Labor Commissioner
Your counsels may opine that you can lodge complaint u/s 406,420, and if police is not acting then may approach vigilance cell and pursue thru RTI, winding up petition, Civil suit for recovery/damages, etc
Have you consulted a counsel at Delhi?
You can take help of Employee's/Trade Union leaders and even approach the Minitser, Ministry, CM etc..........
