Eviction notice to shop tenant ( no rental agreement )

Hi , I want to give eviction notice to a tanant whom i rented my shop ,15 yrs ago , I need the shop now for my personal reasons , he is not vacateing as i had informed him 3 yrs ago , still he is not fulfilled his promise , i did not do any rent agreement with him . can i forcefully put my locks on the shutter .

Issue a legal notice to tenant and mention therein that you require the rented shop for your personal and bonafide need and ask him to handover vacant possession of rented shop,if notice is not complied with by the tenant then file eviction petition on ground of personal and bonafide necessity.

You need to give a legal notice 30 days prior filing the eviction petition. You need to prove your bonafide necessity for the store, then only you will succeed.
