RTI act is not applicable to the private cos., but if you any body in the co., you will get the details or you file an application dalling details of call records from the co.,

Dear Ravindra

if you are a customer of those companies only then you can get information of incoming and outgoing calls of your NO. only not any other no.

RTI is not applicable on Private Companies.

No, you can not get this information inder RTI. It is third party information.

I have talked to telephone companies they informed me that they do not have the incoming call records as that are not chargeable and they are unable to provide the same.

Vicky,

Every MSP (Mobile Service Provider) maintains the complete record of incoming and outgoing calls. Though they don't give it to you.

I myself have got records which were 16 months from the MSP in one of the cases.

If your case is running in the court, I would suggest you file an application under secton 91 of the CrPC..might work..
