I have an underconstruction flat in mumbai which was booked in a joint name originally. I intend to register the property and due to my absence from the country want to register the property in my wifes name.
The builder has given us a transfer letter in his desired format and asked us to frank the document for 500 INR and furrther notarize the same. What is the significance of this and do i need to frank and then notarize this document?
