Suffering from schizophrenia as a sound ground for a decree of nullity. Whether the disease is curable or not does not make any difference. Where in due course the disease is cured, it would not affect the question of validity of marriage.-Tulsi Bai v. Manoharan 1990 (1)HLR 318

the wife should file petition for decree of nullity u/s 12 of HMA.

Ground : stated above.

The marriage is null & void ab initio if schizophrenia is proved. Tell her to collect document of the said decease & file a petition for decree of nullity of the marriage. Contact a lawyer.

If incurable diseases than file nullity case. if not than file divorce case on cruelty against wife ground.
