First apply for a Legal heir certificate, enclose the same with the original death certificate and your AADHAR, and request the Banker to provide details, If there is no nomination, the bank may provide details to you under RTI if it is a PSU or under CP Act if it is a private sector Bank.

To obtain legal heir certificate is it necessary to give copy of Father's voter/ adhar card? It is not available to younger son as elder brother has kept all the docs with himself and not sharing with siblings? Any second method to obtain those docs ?

If a legal heir certificate is already issued by the concerned authority (Tehsildar/ Revenue officer), one can obtain copy of such certificate under RTI. Identity of deceased is not important in obtaining a legal heir certificate, as a revenue inspector issues such certificate after making proper investigation locally around the area and through personal visits. The applicant's AADHAR and other ID documents certainly state the name of his father and death certificate can be obtained by any citizen as it is in the public domain of Births and Deaths dept., Generally these two documents are sufficient. This may vary from state to state and some states stopped issuing legal heir certificate and can only provide Family member's certificate.
