Dear Sir,
How to Transfer Land From SC/ST to General?
I am belonging to General catagories from State Odisha, One SC/ST Person want to sold/transfer land as he is required money for his sons higher studies. Urgently he is needy of money.
I am interested to buy land from SC/ST, but i am belong to General Catagory. I came to hear that in orissa there is a law which preventing me buying from SC?ST land.
is there any way to purchase?

Government has to decatogarise land meant for SC/ST to make it general.Some rich people are buying SC/ST land and paying money, hefty fines to regularise the land to take permission from District collector.If you buy SC/ST land later on you will face complications. IN addition to loss of money you'll have to surrender the land back to SC/ST.SC/ST land is assigned land. Hence there is a bar to buy SC/St land for general category people.You will never get a clear title.to the land.

Even if you buy that will revert to S/ST people.Try collector route.
