Illegal hostel in residential society

An illegal hostel as come up in our residential society where some 20 flats have been booked by a company claiming to be provide bachelors accommodation without any permission from the society members . Can a FIR be lodged in the Police station ? OR where can we report this matter ?

Society bye - laws must be permitted such hostel. Report to the society secretary copy to Registrar of cooperative societies. If they do not take action, you can approach courts.
