Interesting hindi terms in legal practice

I was reading one of the files in a legal office and came across many Hindi terms which I had no idea about. I asked one of the seniors and came to know their meanings. I realized that learning their meanings is actually very interesting and useful for lawyers to be. I would love to know more. If you people know any please comment here.

Some terms that I learnt are -

Pradhikaran - Authority

Anveshan - Investigation

Nirvah Nidhi - Alimony

Shifted - Sthanantrit

Appellant - Appealarthi

Writing in Hindi is time-consuming on a computer. :/

Oh! I did not know that. The person who was teaching told that Appealarthi is how Appellant is written in Hindi. This is interesting! 'Unmochan'! Nice! I have come to love this thing. Eager to learn more!

Dr. Vashishth, there is no dispute. This is a general query. Information-experience sharing!
